At 2:59 a.m. EST on Monday, the National Weather Service released an updated high wind warning in effect until 7 p.m. EST for Isabella, Gratiot, Clinton, Ingham and Jackson counties.
Lake Seiche: The strong winds coming out of the WSW will cause a massive seiche on Lake Erie, potentially our largest since December 2022. The lake level is currently forecast to drop 6 feet from where it currently is in the western basin, and that will expose a lot of lakebed. The seiche should peak early Monday afternoon.
PinPoint Alert Day, but for much weaker wind. High Wind Warning is canceled, and we now have a Wind Advisory until 7 p.m. There will still be a window from around 12 - 6 p.m. of stronger wind. Max gusts in the 40-45 mph range, possibly up to 50 mph.

Tomorrow will be cold and blustery with localized lake snow showers. Any snow showers won't be too heavy but winds will still be gusting over 40mph at times causing blowing snow. Most of the snow showers will be focused to higher elevations. Highs will be in the mid 20s but wind chills will be in the single digits throughout the day.
KIRO 7’s meteorologists are calling for a Pinpoint Alert on Wednesday because there’s a chance some areas could see strong wind gusts, upwards of 60 miles per hour.
The Local Alert Weather Team has issued a Local Alert Day for the windy and rainy night ahead. The National Weather Service has issued a High Wind Warning beginning at 10 pm and ending Wednesday afternoon.
Dangerously strong gusts of wind are expected across much of central Pennsylvania through Tuesday. The National Weather Service has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook and a Wind Advisory for Columbia, Dauphin, Lancaster, Lebanon, Montour, Northumberland, Schuylkill, Sullivan and York counties.
